Library Portfolio Support Manager

The Library Portfolio Support Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of content services being provided to the Library meet service level agreements, contract requirements, and quality standards through proactive and reactive measures. Incumbent must be self-motivated and be able to work effectively with internal customers and external resource providers. This full-time position is located at our corporate client in Raritan, New Jersey and reports to CCC’s Managed Services Manager.

Responsibilities Include:        

  • Primary liaison with content subscription agent
  • Manage enterprise subscription licensing process
  • Escalation contact for CCC customer service inquiries relating to library services
  • Primary liaison between library services and procurement for the purposes of processing publisher content agreements and licenses
  • Primary point person for RightFind Business Intelligence analytics tools for content usage statistics and trends
  • Provide research tools and project support as needed
  • Coordinate end user trainings for various library tools and solutions including databases and discovery tools (SciFinder, Ovid, etc.), as needed
  • Support information needs by becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the client’s library resources and tools.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) between the library and business to support increasing awareness of library resources and tools and to listen to the changing needs of the business to support identification of new tools
  • Develop materials (i.e. job aids, communications) as needed to facilitate usage of Library resources
  • Support the marketing and promotion of the Knowledge Center services to the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MLS degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client facing role
  • Experience in academic research or corporate library preferred
  • Knowledge of library collection and electronic resource management
  • High-level of computer literacy, including proficiency in web-based software applications
  • Integrated Library systems experience
